so far this blog or whatever I'm doing can be sum'd up in my Day One post:
My project: to post a song a day, although post may be a strong word for I may simply doodle its name in my notebook. This project is not about making friends, meeting people “through music,” educating the masses, or any of those other things trendsters mumble about trendsters. This project is about me and my need to get back to journaling everyday.
Journal-ing everyday can be quite the cumbersome task. So many things happen everyday that the wordy people can post for eons, while the meek suffice in their 140 character limit on twitter. I think that posting one song, everyday, sometimes with a why, sometimes with a photo may be what I need just to get moving.
Picking that one song per day may not be as big of a deal as many think - there are so many days in the year, and so many years in a life, but what we’re not thinking about is that there are so many songs already out, not to mention those coming in the passing days. I hope that the songs I pick will continue to stimulate, amuse, bewilder and entertain me long after my project is complete.
